Installation

The coilovers replace the standard dampers and springs. Set the ride height and spring preload, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.

Please note: Pillow ball upper mounts make a small amount of noise. This is normal and does not affect performance or safety. Yellow Speed Racing also offer hardened rubber upper mounts (R/U) for quieter running. Premium Competition coilovers are for motorsport use only and are not for road use. Cars with EDC need a cancellation kit to prevent a dashboard warning light (sold separately).

Can I use these on the road?

No. Premium Competition coilovers are designed for motorsport and are not for road use. For a road and track kit, look at the Club Performance or Dynamic Pro ranges.

How is the damping adjusted?

Each damper has a 33-way adjuster, so you can fine-tune the setup for the circuit and conditions.

Can I adjust the ride height without changing preload?

Yes. Full-length adjustment lets you set the ride height independently of spring preload.

Are spare parts available?

Yes. Yellow Speed Racing offer a wide range of replacement parts, so damaged parts can be replaced without buying a whole new kit.

Will the pillow ball mounts be noisy?

They make a small amount of noise, which is normal. Hardened rubber upper mounts (R/U) are available for quieter running.

Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?

Yes. Changing the ride height alters the suspension geometry, so a four-wheel alignment should be carried out once the car has settled.
