Yellow Speed Racing Premium Competition coilovers for the BMW 3-Series xDrive E91 (2005-2013). They are designed for competition and developed through years of racing and testing, with spring rates and damper valving chosen to keep the car controlled and balanced on track. This listing is for the Estate version.

Damping is 33-way adjustable and the coilovers have full-length ride height adjustment, so the setup can be tailored to the driver and circuit. Lightweight aluminium alloy lower mounts reduce unsprung weight, and pillow ball top mounts are used on MacPherson strut cars for maximum handling precision.

Premium Competition coilovers are for motorsport use and are not for road use.

• 2 x front coilovers with springs and top mounts (aluminium pillow ball upper mount with camber plate)
• 2 x rear dampers and springs
• Pair of remote damper adjuster cables

Fitment

• BMW 3-Series xDrive E91 (2005-2013) – Estate
• For estate models. Fits xDrive models only. Rear shock and spring are supplied separately. The rear mounts must be tightened to 110Nm with a torque wrench.

Not suitable for: models other than xDrive versions. Please check your model, drive type and strut size before ordering.

Installation

The coilovers replace the standard dampers and springs. Set the ride height and spring preload, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.

Please note: Pillow ball upper mounts make a small amount of noise. This is normal and does not affect performance or safety. Yellow Speed Racing also offer hardened rubber upper mounts (R/U) for quieter running. Premium Competition coilovers are for motorsport use only and are not for road use. Tighten the rear lower mount nuts to 110Nm with a torque wrench.

Can I use these on the road?

No. Premium Competition coilovers are designed for motorsport and are not for road use. For a road and track kit, look at the Club Performance or Dynamic Pro ranges.

How is the damping adjusted?

Each damper has a 33-way adjuster, so you can fine-tune the setup for the circuit and conditions.

Can I adjust the ride height without changing preload?

Yes. Full-length adjustment lets you set the ride height independently of spring preload.

Are spare parts available?

Yes. Yellow Speed Racing offer a wide range of replacement parts, so damaged parts can be replaced without buying a whole new kit.

Will the pillow ball mounts be noisy?

They make a small amount of noise, which is normal. Hardened rubber upper mounts (R/U) are available for quieter running.

Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?

Yes. Changing the ride height alters the suspension geometry, so a four-wheel alignment should be carried out once the car has settled.

What warranty is included?

Yellow Speed Racing cover Premium Competition coilovers with a 3 month limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
