YSR Dynamic Pro Sport Inverted Coilovers for Lexus ES330 (2002-2007) – 55mm Inverted Monotube Coilovers, 33-Way Adjustable

Yellow Speed Racing Dynamic Pro Sport Inverted coilovers for the Lexus ES330 (2002-2007). They take the Dynamic Pro Sport and add a 55mm inverted monotube damper for extra strength, giving a refined road ride with handling that also works on track.

The inverted design holds more damper oil to help shed heat, keeps that oil further from brake heat, resists side loads better and reduces unsprung weight for a quicker suspension response. The larger body also protects the shaft seals from premature failure, and an aluminium ring seal keeps out corrosion and debris.

Damping is adjustable through 33 levels from the bottom of the coilover, with compression and rebound adjusted together. Where fitted, rear Sustech inverted dampers can be adjusted without removing any parts. On cars with rear wishbone suspension the rear damper shaft is thickened to 20mm for extra strength.

Installation

The coilovers replace the standard dampers and springs. Set the ride height and spring preload, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.

Please note: Pillow ball top mounts can increase suspension noise. Choose rubber top mounts if noise is a concern.

What does the inverted design do?

Should I choose rubber or pillow ball top mounts?

Can I adjust the ride height without changing preload?

Yes. Ride height is set by winding the lower bracket up or down, so spring preload and damper travel stay the same.

Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?

Yes. Changing the ride height alters the suspension geometry, so a four-wheel alignment should be carried out once the car has settled.
