Unlike a linear valve, a digressive valve gives its strongest damping at low piston speeds and then tapers off as speeds rise. That gives a sharp, controlled response to steering, braking and body roll, while still letting the suspension move freely over bigger, faster bumps.

Expect a firmer ride than standard at low speeds, and some extra road noise. These are a performance setup rather than a comfort-focused road suspension.

Installation

The coilovers replace the standard dampers and springs. Set the ride height and spring preload, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.
