Yellow Speed Racing Club Performance 2-Way coilovers for the Volkswagen Jetta A7 (2018 on). They are built for drivers who do track days, club events and weekend racing but still use the car on the road, with adjustable damping that can be set firm for the circuit or softer for daily driving. This listing is for the Multi-Link GLI version.

Compression and rebound damping are adjusted independently, and full-length ride height adjustment lets you set the height without changing spring preload or damper travel.

External reservoirs, either hose-mounted or piggyback depending on the car, increase the oil capacity of each damper and help it shed heat. That keeps the damping consistent through long track sessions. The damper bodies are electroplated to resist corrosion.

• For cars with 55mm front struts. Fits front-wheel-drive models only. For cars with rear multi-link suspension. GLI. Not available for vehicles with DCC active suspension.

Installation

The coilovers replace the standard dampers and springs. Set the ride height and spring preload, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.

Please note: Pillow ball upper mounts make a small amount of noise. This is normal and does not affect performance or safety. Yellow Speed Racing also offer hardened rubber upper mounts (R/U) for quieter running.

How is the damping adjusted?

Yes. Changing the ride height alters the suspension geometry, so a four-wheel alignment should be carried out once the car has settled.
