Nitron NTR R3 Coilovers for Caterham CSR Duratec (2004 on) – 3-Way Independently Adjustable Coilovers
Nitron NTR R3 coilovers for the Caterham CSR Duratec (2004 on), hand built to order for serious track and race use, as well as fast road cars where you want full control.
The R3 gives independent adjustment of rebound, high-speed compression and low-speed compression. A piggyback or remote reservoir makes compression changes quick and simple, and the large diameter piston and strong piston rod give excellent damping control and feedback.
The R3 is a proven race winner and lap record holder across many forms of international motorsport. Titanium and hard-anodised parts resist corrosion and keep weight down, and every kit is custom built, sprung and fully serviceable. Hose shocks use Nitron's Bi-Axis fittings for simple, precise installation.

Installation
The kit replaces the standard dampers and springs. Set the ride height and preload, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.
All Nitron shocks are hand made to order. Lead times are normally 2-3 weeks, but can be longer at busy times, so contact us for an up-to-date estimate.
How is the damping adjusted?
Each damper has separate adjusters for rebound, high-speed compression and low-speed compression.
Can I have different spring rates?
Yes. Every kit is built and sprung to order, so contact us before ordering to discuss your spring rates.
Can the dampers be serviced?
Yes. Nitron dampers are fully serviceable, so they can be rebuilt and refreshed rather than replaced.
Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?
Yes. Changing the suspension and ride height alters the geometry, so a four-wheel alignment should be carried out once the car has settled.
How long will it take to arrive?
All Nitron shocks are hand made to order. Lead times are normally 2-3 weeks, but contact us for an up-to-date estimate.
What warranty is included?
Nitron products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. Contact us if you have a problem with your kit.
