Nitron R1 FastRoad coilovers for the Lotus Emira i4 (2024 on), hand built to order for drivers who use the car mainly on the road but drive it hard.
The FastRoad is the entry point to the NTR range: a 40mm piston, 1-way adjustable damper where a single knob adjusts bump and rebound together. Softer valving and springs let the car run at standard ride height, or slightly lower, for a capable road setup with good comfort.
The dampers run inverted to reduce unsprung mass and arrive preset with a full set of bearing spacers, ready to fit. As part of the NTR range they stay consistent under hard use and can be rebuilt to other NTR specs later. Custom spring rates are available at no extra charge.

Installation
The kit replaces the standard dampers and springs. Set the ride height and preload, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.
All Nitron shocks are hand made to order. Lead times are normally 2-3 weeks, but can be longer at busy times, so contact us for an up-to-date estimate.
How is the damping adjusted?
A single knob adjusts bump and rebound together.
Can I have different spring rates?
Yes. Custom spring rates are available at no extra charge.
Can the dampers be serviced?
Yes. Nitron dampers are fully serviceable, so they can be rebuilt and refreshed rather than replaced.
Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?
Yes. Changing the suspension and ride height alters the geometry, so a four-wheel alignment should be carried out once the car has settled.
