Nitron R1 ClubSport Coilovers for Lotus Elise S2 (K-Series engine) (2002-2005) – 1-Way Adjustable 40mm Track-Focused Coilovers
Nitron R1 ClubSport coilovers for the Lotus Elise S2 (K-Series engine) (2002-2005), hand built to order for regular track days or competition, with occasional road use.
The ClubSport is Nitron's standard track-focused damper: a 40mm piston, 1-way adjustable shock with stiffer springs and valving, designed to run at a lower ride height. A single knob adjusts bump and rebound together for simple setup.
The dampers run inverted to reduce unsprung mass and arrive preset with a full set of bearing spacers, ready to fit. NTR lockrings are included, and custom spring rates are available at no extra charge.

Installation
The kit replaces the standard dampers and springs. Set the ride height and preload, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.
All Nitron shocks are hand made to order. Lead times are normally 2-3 weeks, but can be longer at busy times, so contact us for an up-to-date estimate.
How is the damping adjusted?
A single knob adjusts bump and rebound together.
Can I have different spring rates?
Yes. Custom spring rates are available at no extra charge.
Can the dampers be serviced?
Yes. Nitron dampers are fully serviceable, so they can be rebuilt and refreshed rather than replaced.
Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?
Yes. Changing the suspension and ride height alters the geometry, so a four-wheel alignment should be carried out once the car has settled.
How long will it take to arrive?
All Nitron shocks are hand made to order. Lead times are normally 2-3 weeks, but contact us for an up-to-date estimate.
What warranty is included?
Nitron products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. Contact us if you have a problem with your kit.
