Nitron elec-TRON DCU for Chevrolet Corvette C8 (2020 on) – Damper Control Unit for Semi-Active Damping
The Nitron Damper Control Unit (DCU) turns elec-TRON dampers on the Chevrolet Corvette C8 (2020 on) into a semi-active system. It reads data about the car, its attitude and the forces acting on it under braking, cornering and acceleration, and sets each elec-TRON valve accordingly, updating every 5 milliseconds.
A 6-position rotary switch selects from pre-installed damping maps (three passive and three adaptive). Damping is still optimised continuously, but your selection sets the overall level.
