MeisterR ClubRace coilovers replace the standard dampers and springs on the Mitsubishi EVO 4-6 CP9A (1996-2001) with a height adjustable setup designed for track-focused cars that still need a compliant ride. Ride height and spring preload adjust independently, so you can set the height without changing how the spring is loaded.

The ClubRace uses digressive damping with MeisterR's Close Ratio Damping (CRD) technology, set up for track-focused cars, with helper springs to maximise wheel travel and traction. It keeps good control on circuit while still riding uneven roads well.

Installation

The kit bolts in place of the standard suspension. Set the ride height and spring preload, tighten everything to the correct torque, let the suspension settle, then recheck the height and have a four-wheel alignment carried out. We recommend professional fitting.

Yes. They can be used on the road, but they are set up mainly for track-focused cars, so expect a firmer ride than our road-focused kits.

Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?

Yes. Changing the ride height alters the suspension geometry, so a four-wheel alignment should be carried out once the car has settled.
