Description
Eibach Pro-Street-S Coilovers for Tesla Model 3 5YJ3 2WD EV (2017 on) – Height Adjustable, TÜV Approved
This Eibach Pro-Street-S kit replaces the standard springs and dampers on the Tesla Model 3 5YJ3 (2017 on) with a height-adjustable coilover set. It lowers the car by approx. 30-55 mm at the front and 25-50 mm at the rear, which sharpens the steering, cuts body roll and closes up the wheel arch gap. The front ride height is set on threaded coilover struts, and the rear has its own height-adjustable spring seat, so each end can be set independently.
The Pro-Street-S uses stainless steel dampers with the damping pre-set by Eibach to suit the springs, which are developed from Eibach's ERS motorsport spring range. The spring seats are made from a polyamide composite, so they will not seize to the threads and the ride height can still be adjusted years later. The result is a firm, controlled car that is still comfortable enough to use every day.
Eibach makes more than one kit for the Tesla Model 3 5YJ3. This one is for EV with 1363kg front and 1500kg rear max axle load. Check the Fitment section below before ordering.

Installation
Fitting means removing the original struts, springs and dampers and fitting the Eibach units in their place. We recommend a qualified workshop. A spring compressor is needed to strip down the original front struts. Set the ride height with the wheels off the ground, never use an impact gun on the damper piston rod nut, and torque everything to the manufacturer's figures. A four-wheel alignment is required once the car is at its final ride height. Re-check the height and alignment after the first few hundred miles, once the springs have settled.
Before you start:
- Some fitments need extra original manufacturer parts to complete the installation. Check the fitting instructions for your car before booking the work in.
Will this fit my Tesla Model 3 5YJ3?
It fits the Tesla Model 3 5YJ3 (2017 on) with EV. Check the Fitment section for the exclusions, or use our number plate lookup.
How low will it sit?
Eibach quotes approx. 30-55 mm at the front and 25-50 mm at the rear lower than standard. The exact drop varies from car to car with engine, equipment and tolerances.
Can I adjust the damping?
No, the damping is pre-set by Eibach to suit the springs, so there is nothing to set up. You only adjust the ride height. If you want adjustable damping, look at the Eibach Pro-Street-Multi.
My car has adaptive dampers - can I use this kit?
No, this kit is not for cars with electronic suspension. Check the other Eibach kits listed for your car.
Do I need an alignment after fitting?
Yes. Eibach requires a full four-wheel alignment once the car is set at its final ride height, and another check after the springs have settled.
Is it road legal in the UK?
Yes. It comes with a TÜV components certificate. Keep the ride height within Eibach's quoted range and tell your insurer about the modification.
Is it covered by a warranty?
Yes, Eibach covers it against defects in materials and workmanship. If a part ever needs replacing, contact us with your vehicle details and order number.
