Description

Eibach Pro-Street-S Coilovers for Subaru BRZ ZC 2.0 (2012-2020) – Height Adjustable, TÜV Approved

This Eibach Pro-Street-S kit replaces the standard springs and dampers on the Subaru BRZ ZC (2012-2020) with a height-adjustable coilover set. It lowers the car by approx. 20-50 mm at the front and 25-55 mm at the rear, which sharpens the steering, cuts body roll and closes up the wheel arch gap. Ride height is set on threaded coilover bodies, so the front and rear can be set independently.

The Pro-Street-S uses stainless steel dampers with the damping pre-set by Eibach to suit the springs, which are developed from Eibach's ERS motorsport spring range. The spring seats are made from a polyamide composite, so they will not seize to the threads and the ride height can still be adjusted years later. The result is a firm, controlled car that is still comfortable enough to use every day.

Fitment

  • Can be fitted to cars with factory electronic damper control - see Installation

Not suitable for: cars with self-levelling suspension or 4WD models.

Installation

Fitting means removing the original struts, springs and dampers and fitting the Eibach units in their place. We recommend a qualified workshop. A spring compressor is needed to strip down the original front struts. Set the ride height with the wheels off the ground, never use an impact gun on the damper piston rod nut, and torque everything to the manufacturer's figures. A four-wheel alignment is required once the car is at its final ride height. Re-check the height and alignment after the first few hundred miles, once the springs have settled.

Before you start:

  • If the car has factory electronic damper control, it will store a fault code once the kit is fitted and the adaptive damping will no longer work. A dealer or specialist can clear the code, or fit the matching Eibach Pro-Tronic kit to stop it appearing.

Will this fit my Subaru BRZ ZC?

It fits the Subaru BRZ ZC (2012-2020) with 2.0. Check the Fitment section for the exclusions, or use our number plate lookup.

How low will it sit?

Eibach quotes approx. 20-50 mm at the front and 25-55 mm at the rear lower than standard. The exact drop varies from car to car with engine, equipment and tolerances.

Can I adjust the damping?

No, the damping is pre-set by Eibach to suit the springs, so there is nothing to set up. You only adjust the ride height. If you want adjustable damping, look at the Eibach Pro-Street-Multi.

My car has adaptive dampers - will that cause a problem?

The adaptive damping no longer works once the coilovers are fitted, and the car will log a fault. The matching Eibach Pro-Tronic kit stops that fault message appearing.

Do I need an alignment after fitting?

Yes. Eibach requires a full four-wheel alignment once the car is set at its final ride height, and another check after the springs have settled.

Is it road legal in the UK?

Yes. It comes with a TÜV components certificate. Keep the ride height within Eibach's quoted range and tell your insurer about the modification.

Is it covered by a warranty?

Yes, Eibach covers it against defects in materials and workmanship. If a part ever needs replacing, contact us with your vehicle details and order number.
